2.0 Ordering Process

All orders placed through the website are subject to Napier Electric Company’s acceptance. This means that we may refuse to accept or may cancel any order, whether or not the order has been confirmed, for any or no reason, and without liability to you or anyone else.

To order a product, add it to the shopping cart and proceed through the checkout process. You will be required to enter payment information, which, if successfully completed, will lead to a confirmation page in which you can use as a receipt of your order and we will email to you. (Please check your junk folder if not in your inbox).

Once you completed an order (including payment), it will be sent to the team at Napier Electric Company, who will confirm whether your order has been accepted or rejected. If Napier Electric Company or our payment processing rejects your order, you will be refunded in full.

We reserve the right to cancel orders that we believe to be placed for commercial purposes or are fraudulent in nature including where we believe there may have been credit card or a payment related fraud. We, or the payment gateway may also cancel orders where there has been an error in the listing of the product (example: an incorrect price). If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.

2.1 Pricing, Payment and Availability

2.2 Delivery of your order

Delivery times may vary based on your location and the availability of products. We are not responsible for delays outside of our control.

Delivery times are set by what is in stock, our suppliers, and delivery couriers. After placing your order, you will be able to track its progress by the email sent to you and it will display the progress of your order, or provide a link to the relevant courier site (on which you can check your order’s progress). We do not take any responsibility for our carriers website unavailability or technical difficulties in producing track & trace information and/or associated information for delivery progress.

To ensure successful delivery, you must provide a delivery address where someone will be present during business hours. Napier Electric Company will not be liable for late delivery where attempted delivery has occurred on or before the relevant delivery timeframe.

2.3 Batteries and Pick Up

Where you have selected pick up at a Century Battery depo, you must provide information for your preferred pick up location. We will notify you when your order is ready, and you will have 5 business days to collect. If you do not collect your order within 5 working days, the order will be returned, and you will receive a refund for the amount of your order less any administration fees.

2.4 Rural Delivery

We may charge an additional fee for Rural Delivery, because rural delivery couriers are subcontracted to deliver your parcel from the nearest Post Office. Rural delivery couriers then charge this fee to our courier provider and then on to Napier Electric Company.

 2.5 Returns and Refunds

All products sold by Napier Electric Company are likely to come with guarantees that fall under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If you believe you have the right to a replacement or refund, or if you think your goods have been damaged or lost during delivery, please email us at [email protected] and include purchase details and associated information, including original purchase invoice.

2.6 Free Shipping and Returns

If free shipping was applied to your order, and you return the item due to a change of mind, the original shipping amount at Napier Electric Company’s discretion, may be deducted from the return refund.

2.7 Limitation of Liability

Napier Electric Company shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the service or any products procured through using or purchasing through Napier Electric Company website or store platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, misuse, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

Napier Electric Company does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any vendor or suppliers advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise.
