Autonomy – All of our staff are respected as the masterful, multifarious individuals they are. They are given responsibility and accountability, and the authority to make the calls as they see fit. They’re not given a job and cast into the wind though – we have a strong management team including an Operations Manager, Key Project Manager, Accounts Manager and QS backing them up, and we have strong systems. Any feedback from our tradies is taken on board, and our systems tweaked to suit.

Challenge – If you’re happy bashing out the same spec home daily, being beige and camouflaged within a beige company – this isn’t the job for you. We’ve worked from day dot on offering diversified services, for both our customers’ AND our employees’ sake. High-end domestic, commercial fitouts, domestic and commercial servicing, EV charging, solar, underground cable tracing, networking, custom audio systems, security and even earthworks are all part of our standard work week. If you want diversity so you can choose where your talents lie and are willing to let them be noticed – here’s where that happens.

Remuneration – We reward our tradespeople generously as they progress through their careers. We pay well and have generous allowances and bonuses. They drive modern, tidy and well set out vehicles. We have the best tools and keep everyone safe with PPE. There’s also our workshop: gym/showers, pool table, dart board & barbies.

Community – We’re super proud of our team. They’re a bunch of winners working together to crush it daily. We set our standards sky high and help each other meet or exceed them. Importantly, we don’t tolerate the rotting fruit – we spot selfish behaviour early and pick it out before it spoils the bunch. The result is that we have a team full of people we can all say are ‘My Kind of People.’ When we get together, there’s a great vibe and huge laughs. Recently, one of our guys had a crazy deadline and pulled a Saturday to keep up. On hearing that, three other NEC tradies jumped on board to help out. That’s support.

This is what’s on the table:

• $34 -$38 per hour – based on what you bring.
• A sweet 4×4 double cab Dmax.
• New smartphone
• A generous tool allowance
• Annual performance bonus
• Work uniform including wet weather jacket and a new pair of boots every year
• A $1,000 bonus – to reward you because you’ll be a top class tradesperson and we know there are costs with shifting jobs or towns. (paid out after your successful 90-day trial)

• NZ Registered Electrician preferred, but we’d consider a highly skilled 3rd year apprentice, or limited-licence international, ready for work now.
• Heat Pump experience would be a huge advantage
• Hold a clean driver’s license.
